We made it!
We had a good flight from JFK .
Made it here by 12:30 with no problems at the airport. We jumped on and off the bus and the suitcases were close behind us.

We ended up picking up some groceries from Carrefour. We thought the prices
were not any less expensive than Garden Market, which is smaller,
and we know where everything is.

We were starved and went directly to Secret Seafood and had a very nice early dinner.
Conch for Rit and snapper filet for me.

Now it’s time to sleep.

Good times are starting. How was the conch prepared? Was that the portion that looked scrambled?

Terri--glad you arrived OK. If you're referring to the grocery store by Burger King, I think it's Market Garden, although there is another grocery store with a confusingly similar name, on the road toward Orient. If you are comparing prices at the grocery store versus a year ago, my guess is that all grocery prices have gone up a fair amount since last year.

How's the sand at Beachside? Enjoy!

The couch was grilled.
Way too tough for me, but my husband enjoyed it.
Yes, it was the scrambled looking one.

Great sides and great service.

I really didn’t compare a lot, We only get the basics. It’s just easier to run in Market Garden for us.

The beach is fine, but I still need the calmest of conditions to go in the water. But, for normal people it’s calm .

Post is also in your quote—- sorry.

Terry--thanks for the pic. Any more, I prefer to just watch the water, but that's just me.
