Wow, and typical GEBE, they are right on top of things. Quoting from the article "This aims to be a permanent solution to the water tank in South Reward and Concordia that was severely damaged in Hurricane Irma almost seven years ago. The project is set to begin on May 1 and GEBE expects it to be completed before the peak of the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season."
So, let me get this straight. This is a project that will take 3 to 4 months to complete and they are starting it now, 7 years post Irma. Must make sense to them.

At least it's going to be done . The big problem right now is the power outages sometimes daily .
That's something to complain about .

It seems that this water problem is somewhat confined to South Reward and Concordia, but apparently has been a problem since Irma. I would personally be very p*ssed if I didn't have water.
But of course, the power outages have been a problem since____________. You can put any date you want in there and it would be correct..

Nah, power outages have been going on in SXM ever since I started coming there, at least, and our first visit was in 1987.

The power outage just recently started . It's called Load Shedding . Maybe this recent one but there have been problems as long as we've been staying on island since 1999. You can spin it anyway you want but it'll still keep happening.

That good news.....Not normally that bad of the Dutch side Water outages or much more of a problem on the French side.
