Conch charters had a boat simply disappear once! The crew however came back in the dinghy with all their baggage. Claimed the boat simply sank and they had no time for a distress call. Owner had been trying to sell the boat for some time and was upside down on the loan. A friend of his was chartering. Despite the reported sinking spot being not deep the boat was never found. Conch even had a guy parasail the area on a dead calm day looking for the boat since it sank with sails up and should have been easy to spot. Never found! If I were a betting man I would guess it was 2 miles further off past the south drop off when the “sinking” occurred!

They had time to gather all their luggage but no time for a distress call?? Nothing suspicious there!🤣
