11/6/04- 5th trip in 4 years, and as always a delight- even poor weather conditions, did not deter us from spending every day at orient- flights to and from newark, on continental, uneventful and ontime- for some strange reason, on the way home, we were told no departure tax and that was fine w/us- rental car fr alain AAA- perfect- this time, -we spent at alamanda, which we are always comparing to club o- since both are great locations, but w/different amenities- however, after this last trip, we realize that club o has won hands down, just because of the ease of living right on the beach and the wonderful people you meet there- met many ttolers this trip including dr j, kathleen, paul fr tn, cheryl fr ohio and vinnie/sandy from pa- lunches at baywatch (margarita shrimp) and pedros (ribs) were excellent- dinners to mention were grilled lobster at california (delicious)- the seafood pasta at spiga and homemade gnocchi at don camilo ( have never had a bad meal here)- due to sand gravity, did not do any shopping, other than the ma dou dou factory, where we stocked up for the cold nj winter- due to time limits, only met luis (the bathing suit guy), but he is my first stop on next trip- so in closing, another terrific trip to a paradise so perfect, that it is hard to explain to others that haven't yet expereinced it- regards to all friends and hope to see you again next year !
