Obviously a sloppy job by the SXM govt site. "Minister Lewis stated, “People who work deserve to get paid, and I am committed to ensuring that all justice workers continue to receive their deserved payment as I see it important to keep out the moral, and ultimately important to the safety and well-being of Sint Maarten.” " What the heck does that mean? And obviously the date should be yesterday.

Meantime, getting to the facts, NOT a good thing for immigration officers to call in sick on a Saturday, on a US holiday weekend. Can't imagine what the lines were like.

We had friends flying out yesterday. Didn't notice anything.

That's good news.

That's good and surprising, although I suspect the incoming lines were worse. From what I understand, the outgoing pax are mostly done by machine?
