Looks like the ban has been lifted.

I’m confused. I thought Carol Hill was the admin for ttol but ruralcarrier ended a previous thread about this subject. Does this mean anyone can end a thread or is ruralcarrier an assistant admin?

He is a Moderator. Part of his authority and I applaud him.

Often I think of myself as a "Stealth Moderator", as many times after I have posted the thread is closed down. 😁

I saw several posts today on other groups about the pond behind Friars Bay draining into the bay. The videos included showed black water flowing in volume into the bay. This may have been the cause of the ban.

On occasion, you do seem to have that ability.

That is what it sounds like and now it appears swimming at Friars Bay is banned.

Have to wonder about Happy Bay which is adjacent to Friars and it they are safe. Even though it is not mentioned in the news release, the situation would give me pause.

Sounds like that situation could give you something more than that!!

Spent a great week at LTC in Grand Case. Swam everyday in the sea and it was great - no issues.
