Large family (12+) visiting Duck late August. Can anyone recommend a market or retail to purchase clams/shrimp/fish for preparation at home? Food Lion or independent shop for a reasonable price?

TIA

I would not recommend purchasing your seafood from Food Lion, you can Google seafood store in Duck, NC and find several options. You are in one of the fishing capitals of the US, you should have no problem finding fresh, local seafood. Have fun.

It's been a while since I've been out there. But I believe we saw several roadside vendors as well.
