Thanks @Carol_Hill for the gentle prod. Somehow, WestJet had their act together and we had a great week in SXM. We stayed at LTC in Grand Case and all was well. Except for one day when we went to Orient Bay (and had a great lunch at Bikini Beach), we stayed in Grand Case. I was surprised at how busy it was. The beach clubs were all doing a good business. Saw some awesome fireworks non the Feast of Grand Case and that Sunday was one big party. I was very happy at LTC and being able to walk everywhere. (And a killer view!) We tried some old favourites (Le Pressoir, Captain Frenchy’s, Rainbow Cafe) and some new places (Tropics Beach Bar). We were pleasantly surprised at the rebuild of Calmos Cafe. Even had pizza one night at Ti Case.
Korner is an interesting place, lovely decor and view but very quiet each time we visited.

Lots of boats, yachts etc visiting the beach during the day. So definitely not quiet but it was nice seeing the village bustling.

Thanks for posting!! When we ate at LTC in June, I picked up a brochure. The location is lovely, but I have to say that the room rates seemed very high to me, for what you get. What do you do for parking there? Was it loud?

Korner is an interesting spot. We found it two years ago on our last visit. Both times we went it was very quiet - just us and another guest. It’s beautifully furnished and the cocktails, view and appetizers were great.

Carol, at LTC you are paying for location. It can be noisy in the afternoon and evening but that never bothered us. They will make arrangements for guests to park but we didn’t have a car so can’t advise further.

Carib Ian--OK, thanks. Sounds like it would not be a good choice for us at all, but glad it worked out for you. Thanks for the reply.
