Thinking about coming down in October. Anyone else going to be in the BVI in October? Also wondering who is open in October?

I have been a few times in October (once on your boat!) and found it to be a great time for many reasons. Ball availability, great diving and snorkeling conditions and cheaper flights being the top three.

We were there for 10 days last October (end of the month). It rained every day. Not showers but monsoon-like. That was our first October trip (usually there between early December and June). Is that type of weather typical?

October and November are the rainiest months. Homeowners know cistern repairs should be done in early summer so the cistern is full by high season. We're currently planning to be on island at the end of October. Hoping Ernesto refilled our cistern after repairs!

Here is a link to the interline Regatta. The places mentioned generally open the season for the event.

Foxy’s Cat Fight and Halloween party are on 10/26. Always a good time.
