Spirit Airlines just filed for bankruptcy protection.
The company stated:"Guests can continue to book and fly without interruption and can use all tickets, credits and loyalty points as normal,” it said in a statement."

Went through four bankruptcies in my 39 years working for airlines. There was never a service interruption, and they were always transparent to the passengers. I hope this will be the same.
