Decided pizza sounded good for lunch so headed to Mama Pizza. We have eaten there before but I must say the pizza was better than I remembered. It was outstanding.....one of the best I have had. They add a bit more cheese and toppings than most of the places on the French side and it was perfect for my tastes. And it cost all of $20.
I know it didn't use to be open in June for lunch. We went for the jazz deal and had to eat there at Rendezvous, because they were the only ones serving food.
What's funny is this schedule says they open saturdays at 5:00 p.m. Yet we had lunch there yesterday. Like some other places, they may adjust schedule depending on season and how busy it is. But it was open for lunch when we were here last August.
