The Primary Wench and I arrive at EIS at 4 PM on Wednesday, July 9, sleeping aboard at The Moorings that night. We would like to walk around to Riteway, purchase our provisions, and take the taxi back to Wickham Key to load our provisions at our leisure. The Riteway website (https://www.riteway.vg/storelocator/) lists four different ”stores” at Pasea Estate, James Walter Francis Highway, which appears to be a short walk from Wickham Key, closing variously at 5:30, 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00. What we would like to know is: which of those times applies to the bricks and mortar store?

A secondary question is: how reliable is their delivery service? For example, if they say they will deliver at 7 PM that evening can we rely on it?

The store near the Moorings is the largest and open until 10. The Moorings also has an excellent market right behind the swimming pool but I think it closes at 8. The only reliable delivery would be through the Moorings. The other companies get there but do so on Island time. Rarely are they more than two hours late however. Within 10 minutes of the Moorings there are 2 alcohol stores, The Moorings market, French Deli and Steakation for additional provisions.

We typically provision all but the produce and meat from Riteway. We do not go through Moorings, we go directly through the Riteway website. We have had them forget items here and there but they will either take it off your bill or send someone over with the item. The last time it was all of the dairy/refrigerated items, but they responded in a timely manner and got us our stuff within the hour. I check the box for no substitutions and write it in the notes as well. Too many times the substitutions were not at all what we had wanted. We get some of our alcohol from Riteway and the rest from Caribbean Cellars. I price shop for these and now have a list of things I know are cheaper to get at one store over the other. I have had Caribbean Cellars forget about our order before but a quick call and they had it delivered. I now confirm with them a couple of days before and haven't had a problem. I typically schedule our delivery time for right when I think we are going to arrive. If it gets there before us they will put the refrigerated items in the refrigerators on board. I do this so that we have plenty of time to deal with any issues before we are leaving the dock. It also helps to know all that you have before the produce/meat shopper leaves for the store.
