So, time to talk about some of the meals that we have had out. I had read lots of good reviews here of Tortuga and we had never been there, so I wanted to head there on Saturday for lunch and to catch some planes coming in.
We didn't really search too long for a parking space, and went to park in a garage. When we go to Jax, etc., we always just park on the ocean side garage. We thought this time we would try the one on the Le Terrasse side, which turned out to be a mistake. According to the guard there, who was kind of miffed at us, that garage is only for those staying at Le Terrasse. Lesson learned. We headed across the street and parked in the garage there. It turned out it was a pretty short walk from where we parked on the 1st floor, at the SSBB end of the garage. Up the ramp, across a driveway, into the Royal Islander and down the stairs, past the pool to Tortuga. We arrived maybe about 12:30, to try to catch some of the big ones coming in. I was pretty lazy and just took pictures from my seat, but got a few reasonable pics of KLM, AA and United.

I ordered the club sandwich, with grilled chicken and provolone

Eric had the Mahi Mahi fish sandwich--sorry, no pic. Both were served with really nice French fries, which were coated with a nicely spicy coating.
The food was excellent, as was the service, and the view.
Unfortunately, it was hot as HADES. For whatever reason, there was no air coming in from off the ocean, and no fans in the area that we were in. So, I would go back there again, but would not stay if it was as hot as when we went.
I had wanted to go to Puerto Cupecoy on Friday night, but we decided not to go out that night, but headed out there on Saturday night. We didn't have a specific destination when we arrived, so just looked around. We were early, so things were very quiet when we arrived. But soon enough, the square was populated with several dogs and dogs, enjoying themselves on a Saturday night. I didn't think to take pictures of the dogs. I understand why people don't want pics of their kids posted online. I kind of wanted to check out Mr. C's (??), but there was no menu posted up top. So we headed back to Altro, which we have enjoyed several times in the past. I decided on the price fixe menu, which was $39.
I enjoyed a lobster bisque

It was actually a bit much for me, but I soldiered on.
Eric ordered off the ala carte menu
He had a goat cheese salad, which I tasted and wish I had ordered.

Overall, we enjoyed it very much and we would return.
