So, although no promises for the future, trying to resume somewhat normal trip reporting, by days.
Once again, the beach has been stunningly beautiful since we arrived. No seaweed at all.

And once again, breakfast was 'at home' eggs, bacon, toast and mimosas!!

Athough we haven't seen a ton of boats up to now, we saw this fishing boat, headed out to sea.

I had been wanting to try Pardon My French by Jax, so we headed out there on Wednesday for lunch. It is almost immediately across from Market Garden. We parked right in front of there, outside of the Market Garden parking. I honestly don't know what they will do for parking in season. As of now they are only open for lunch. As of now, the restaurant is all on the first floor. They have an air conditioned section with the bar, which has 6 tables for 2, plus about 4 seats at the bar. As of now there are also about 8 tables for 4 in the courtyard. If you want to eat inside, you should make a reservation. We did not, but we were able to luck out and sit inside, because someone did not show up for their reservation.
According to our waitress, they will open for dinner in approximately October-November this year. At that time, they will have tables on the 2nd floor, approximately about 40 tables upstairs. I don't know if they will still be on the first floor also at that point. I suspect the a/c area will be just a bar at that point, but I don't know. As of now, their menu is basically a three course price fixe menu at $39, with a few choices with an upcharge, although theoretically you can offer ala carte. I spied lamb chops on the menu, but the waiter said they were $40 by themselves (although a bigger portion), so I decided to soldier on and order the price fixe menu. It about killed me, but I did finish it!
I started off with a goat cheese salad, which was lovely, although I did miss the traditional pecans on it.

Eric started with a Roquefort salad, which contained tons of walnuts.

I wanted to snitch some, but figured I would have problems finishing my meal anyway.
Eric ordered the fish of the day special, which was salmon.

He said it was very good, although the portion size was a little small. Of course, we're talking about a 3 course menu here. The portion sizes at Altro for their 3 course menu are pretty small also.
I chose the chicken cordon bleu.
I thought it was a bit dry, but was served with a lovely sauce.

For dessert, I had to have creme brulee.

I finished it, unlike the other two courses.

Eric had chocolate mousse.

Both were garnished with a chocolate coin, which was also delicious!
Overall, it was a lovely experience, with wonderful service. WAY too much food for us, for lunch though. I look forward to returning there in the future, for sure! Since it is affiliated with Jax, I'm sure it will be successful.
After waddling back to the house, Eric heard this huge monster plane land, so I went out to take some pictures.
As I was waiting to take pictures, this pretty one took off.

I didn't get a lot of great pictures, because the sun was in totally the wrong place when it took off, but I did get a few before.

After our huge lunch, we both just snacked for dinner, and did enjoy watching a couple of ships slide by.
This Royal Carribean one

And the Celebrity Beyond, which to me looks like a monstrosity.

No accounting for taste.
Some TV and then off to bed..
