The last three days have been wonderful. Seaweed exists on sand. Wednesday a tractor was used, probably because 2 cruise ships were in or maybe they always do Wednesday. Last 2 days no cleanup get about 2 foot band a day so today about 4 feet. No smell. Easy to get over. Water pretty clear of it and beautiful and gets better the further south you go.
Chairs $30/day or $180/week.
Only 25+/- sets of front row chairs starting at the old Pedro rocks and don’t extend far towards the old club at all.. Approx 15 sets well spaced in second row. 50-60% occupancy all 3 days.
Perch burgers and mahi mahi good as always. Happy Hour 1:30 to 2:30
Good crowd but definitely smaller usage than our previous early mid July trip.

25 sets + 15 sets = 40 sets x 2 lounges/set = 80 lounges. Only about 80 lounges.
Is that because the inventory is dwindling, as predicted, when broken units are not replaced on a regular basis? Or because fewer customers means fewer sets are being set out in the morning?
Just asking.

That appears to have met demand. I’m sure they have plenty more if they sell out.
They cleared the beach Sunday of seaweed accumulated since Wednesday morning cleanup and the water was exceptionally clear of seaweed today - as good as any day ever for us at Club O even in the glory days.
