I’ve been meaning to post about this for awhile, anyway, I see in Berger‘s newsletter, that Mario’s is for sale, with the caveat that Mario will come along with the new owner to be head chef.

So is Mario just getting tired of doing both jobs of running the restaurant and being head chef or is there something else behind the scenes that is not being said?

Any thoughts for this?

Spoke to a friend of his. Sounds like after 30+ years he just wants to slow down.

Problem is a restaurant depends on how good the chef is and you lose the chef and you lose business. Plus Mario has a personal following because of his years that will most likely keep going. IMO ....I wonder how well Vesna is doing after the sold. Time will tell.
