We paid the agreed price and all in all the old Toyota Agva got us from A to B reliably. She had 30k miles but they were a rough 30k. The driver power window would intermittently not work but always closed as we put her to bed at night. You had to put her in afterburner on the hills and sometimes that was barely enough for a positive rate of climb. But we survived. She was tiny and fit anywhere we parked her. Any better than the many other guys?, only in the no quibble liability included category which is a positive if you add to your quoted rate. I wanted to try the cheapies but chickened out. Our favorite over the years is ACE/Safari. So next time I will bounce Hertz vs ACE vs cheapie.

Glad it got you there OK. I prefer to have a bit bigger car, so it has a bit more 'get up and go', even though we rarely have anyone in the back seat. I will pay a bit extra for that. The one thing I would take a car back for is if the a/c doesn't work.

We are coming Aug 18-28. Got a Hertz small car. I have always got the liability. I am sure my quote does not have that in it. My quote was $311 for 10 days. Do you agree with my thinking. Am I in the ballpark??

Hertz SXM doesn't charge for liability. It's stated as free included in the rental. Hope you booked direct with Hertz SXM. Great locally owned rental company.

Like Scuba says, it is included. They didn’t try to push other coverages and said something “ you will get other coverages via your card?” And I nodded. So check your car insurance or cards to see if they cover damage.

Most personal auto policies from the states do NOT provide coverage in SXM.

Yes. Be sure and check your card as the AA Citi Bank card no longer covers collision. The Barkley card does.
