A nice evening spent last night at Pineapple Pete's. Music from Ronnie Santana and I splurged and got the lobster thermidor. It was delicious. Probably eating in the next couple of nights as we prepare for the coming storm.
It got busier after we were there a while. Was almost empty when we got there at 6:40 p.m. 2 1/2 pound lobster was $60.99. That's cheaper than most other places.
We love Pierre, I know there are people on this site that look down their noses about Pineapple Pete's. We were one of his first customers some twenty six years ago and his food has ALWAYS been really good!! We've had lamb shanks, steaks, fish and of course his famous Lobster Thermidor!!! Besides Pierre is a really great guy!!!

We couldn't agree with you more Colour 1. We love Pineapple Pete and go a couple times a trip. I think I've had almost everything on the menu - LOL.
Owner Pierre Ferland is one of the all time best guys and a terrific restaurateur. Plus, he contributes a lot to the island and supports many organizations.
I suppose if you’re looking to find Pineapple Petes, it is technically in Cole Bay on Welfare Road on the Lagoon side. Welfare Road comes out of Simpson Bay and into Cole Bay.
Good to know. I had always assumed (obviously incorrectly) that Cole Bay started somewhere around where Welfare Road splits and becomes one-way for a bit, just past the end of the lagoon.
