Heh, my wife wants to pick out groceries "in person" at RiteWay. What options are there on immediate delivery to the Moorings? Taxi cost? Immediate free delivery? One way, shopping cart usage (I'm too lazy to take it back)?

thx, rrs

I’d give Riteway a call.

When we were there in June, Riteway had a free shuttle back to the Moorings. I just tipped the driver. I would call to confirm, but we just told the cashier that we needed a ride back to the Moorings, and she went to get the driver.

It’s a 10 minute walk. As Steve said they will arrange a taxi back. You can also have the front desk call OneMart. They will pick you up and bring you back. The Moorings however has a descent market right behind the pool.

We chartered from BVI Yacht Charters (right next to Moorings) in February. There was a driver who offered free rides to both Pussers restaurant and OneMart. I guess he was paid by them, and he heavily promoted them. We decided to take him up on OneMart, and it turned out fine. He drove us in both directions, and waited while we did our shopping.

Before that I walked to Riteway and back, just to grab a few items. It's a short walk, but involves crossing some rough ground and avoiding cars. I don't think I'd want to do it with a shopping cart.

Dan cheers

Eh, I'd categorize the market at the Moorings as "somewhat lean". I don't think you could really do any serious provisioning from there. They've got odds and ends but it's quite limited in my opinion.

We've been going to Gene's for our first night dinner in recent years. They respond promply to FB messenger. Great food, service and drinks!
