I see from You Tube Saturday , a posted drone video of Cul-de-Sac sargassum up to 30 yards thick from shore.
Wondering how it is further south to Mt. Vernon , Orient and Club O?

Was in Orient on sunday. Yes, bit of sargassum but varied over beach. People swimming. More like "last bit needed some cleaning up" than fresh influx

Seen this building up the last couple of seasons. It really changes the whole feel of the bay. Locals must be pulling their hair out trying to keep up with cleanup
