Awoke to another wonderful day, after 6 straight days of ham, egg and cheese wraps, we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a bacon and feta cheese omelet.
Even the oj got upgraded to mimosas
I still get to do the dishes.

After about an hour in the pool, we head over to mullet to meet our Italian friends.
In response to a previous post about 4 men approaching their car.
They are simply trying to direct you to Da Waterhole which completes with Rosie's
Just ignore them and park wherever you find a spot.
We walk almost half way down the beach and find our friends enjoying the clear blue waters almost as flat as a pancake.

With 2 cruise ships in, several catamarans are already offshore with thier guests enjoying the waters as well

We break for lunch at Rosie's.
Recommend wearing you sandals as the sand is blistering hot.
Just a bit warm in Rosie's but the food makes up for the heat.

Can't go without ordering the chicken and ribs combo with French fries, a small salad and a couple slices of plantains.
We also share a flavorful burger which of course is well done.
Our mature waitress is always so pleasant.
Prices remain reasonable

We head back to the pool at RI La Plage as my wife limits herself on the sand because of a torn acl and the slope to get into the water is a bit steep.

We try our luck at Gold bag bingo by the pool with no luck to win a bag of stuff we really don't need although the women's hats inside are pretty

Deciding where to celebrate our anniversary dinner isn't that complicated since we have already had so many great meals
Electing not to try anywhere new, we make a return visit to Altro

Along with a $39 prix fix, there is an ala carte menu.
Besides JC, Sami is one of our favorite servers on the island.
He is so charismatic and appreciates my attempt to converse in French

A slight breeze fills the air in the marina

Although there are still options on the prix fix menu, we both order ala carte.
My wife selection was a salad with walnuts, apples and puff pastry topped with seared goat cheese.
I totally enjoyed my petite slices foie gras terrine accomplined with a fruit garnish and perfectly cooked toast to eat it on
So wish the portion was bigger and wish they had a wine to compliment this dish

For entrees we selected homemade tagliatelle pasta with shrimp in a not too creamy garlic sauce and a tender filet cooked perfect med-rare with a morel sauce on the side

Portions are larger than the economical prix fix and we bring plenty of the pasta dish home

Complimentary flutes are offered to celebrate our anniversary while i ordered my molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream

A small carafe of a mild fruity rum finishes the night

Altro is one of the few restaurants that warents a return visit.

Since the cupecoy Starzs casino is closed, we stop ar the Starzs casino in Jordan village.

Looks like they moved alot of the chairs, artwork, and slot machines over to this casino.

Didn't see any open tables, but thought i saw one or two which maybe opens if casino is busier
Plenty of secure, free parking
Slots are more generous than casino royale in maho

Noticed a Thai restaurant along with another whoose owner was previously in simpson bay and then again in maho.
Name escapes me

Although we made a donation, we did play for almost an our on $40

Although we were offered free drinks quickly, we certainly declined

Our 30th anniversary, another day in paradise

Surprised you liked the burger at Rosie's. Tried it once a couple years ago and threw half away. Mystery meat topped with American cheese. Yuck Food at Altro looks inviting.

Chairs are for use of RI La Plage and Sonesta guests.

I would assume a gratuity to chair guy might work.

Tortuga cafe definitely offers chairs and umbrellas along with bar service derictly to the beach
