Hey Everyone.

Im tired of paying so much to Verizon every time we go to the BVI or ANYWHERE!

How are yall managing your connectivity. Seems like T Mobile is the best global solution.

Thoughts?

The Digicel esim works in over 20 countries in the Caribbean. The Dutch islands are a problem. In Europe, I go with an esim from a local provider. VOIP over wifi with Starlink on the boat.

The AT&T plan is now $12 for the first phone, $6 for the second. Not sure what the monthly cap is now.

AT&T monthly cap is 10 daily fees ($120). After that, no charge for the rest of the month. Speeds are usually excellent.

Depending on how long you travel, Verizon has a monthly option for $100. 10 days or more and you save over the daily plan.

We used Spectrum on our last trip in 2022. Worked great. They charge a fairly low rate for voice and data (posted on their website by country). Think my phone use was alot less expensive than other options. I used the pay per use option. Great for limited use.
Talk: $0.12/min; Text - Free; Data - $0.03 per MB in the BVI

Thanks, they are offering a 30 dollar a month rate. For 10 more they add full international in 186 countries including the BVI. 40 a month seems to good to be true! The 40 rate includes 10GB’s of foreign data and free voice and text. You must however have spectrum internet service to get the rate.
