We are returning to islands again {land basing it} Staying in the nanny cay area. Looking for peoples opinions on Car rentals, private boat charters reasonable
and such We are planning on Jost the baths and jumping off the Willie T for starters. May mosey over to St Johns also. Any ideas folks?

Have you been to the BVIs much before? I'd say skip St John's. Ad time on North Sound. A week goes by quickly, before you know it, it's Wednesday and the vacation is half over.
How about the Indians?

Second trip there for us first time for the other couple were taking
We will have a car thinking of doing the north end of the island from smugglers to long bay beach
We want to hit the rum distillery also
So are your guys reasons for skipping St. John is
For the hassles of immigration?

I just used Jerry's car rental, near West End. Good experience. Agree to skip St Johns because of the logistics hassle. Do a beach day at Smuggler's Cove and visit Patricias. Lunch at Indigo Beach House in CGB. For a nice dinner, try the Sugar Mill. (many of these recommendations came from Manpot and were on point). Long Bay Beach Resort has a nice bar right on the beach. If you do a private boat charter I would skip Jost Van Dyke. Instead, take the ferry over to JVD from West End and spend a full day over there.

Thanks for that Matt..I'd also add in sunset at Bananakeet followed by a nice dinner there ( a second choice for me after the fabulous Sugar Mill).The Sugar Mill beach bar(Tramonti) is also lovely for lunch or a drink as you pass by during the day. The food at Myett's on CGB has greatly improved and is another nice lunch spot on a non cruise ship day..for a quieter more special meal ,as Matt says Indigo House is fabulous ( both owned by Val and Kareem Rhymer).Vishall will be your Indigo House host and you should try his special cocktail. Even on cruise ship days most dont venture that far west down the beach.To me the rum distillery is a one time only thing but its fun first timers.

If you have a car on Tortola don’t forget a stop at Josiah’s Bay! Beautiful horseshoe type beach.

If you have a car on Tortola don’t forget a stop at Josiah’s Bay! Beautiful horseshoe type beach. Nice beach but not swimable. Best “beaches” Smugglers, Brewers Bay, Cane Garden (NOT on a cruise day!)
