Hi everyone,
I am a medical student from the UK and i will be coming with a colleague to Tortola at the end of February to study @ Peebles Hospital for 4 weeks.

I am trying to find some accommodation in the Road Town area (or in walking distance of the hospital) that won't cost us an arm and a leg (we are students). Whether that be an apartment we could rent or even a family/individual who would take us in for the month!

Thanks in advance for your replies, and for any other advice you might have for us!

Your best bet is to join the BVI Community Board on Facebook and post there.

Beware Med Student.
One of your colleagues from England came to study at Peebles a few years ago for a six month rotation. She met a young skipper, sailed with him, married him, and gave him (and her) a beautiful little girl, Olivia. Now living in England but BEWARE the Island influence. Have a wonderful time and I know you will be welcome and well taken care of by the wonderful BVI locals.
