Can anyone recommend a good charter company for the USVI? All the ones we used in the past seem to be gone. Just planning at this point. Looking for 50' catamaran for party of 12 (kids/grandkids). Thanks.

Waypoints (Formerly CYOA) has a nice fleet of newer cats at their base in St. Thomas. I have chartered with them back when they were CYOA, and they were excellent.

Waypoints continues to be excellent. Chartered with them out of Frenchtown in 2024 and will do so again in Jan 2027.

If you plan to go to the BVI make sure the boat you book is allowed to do that. The reason your prior company is likely gone is the restrictions the BVI has placed on US charter boats entering.

Also, based on personal experience earlier this year with Waypoints, not all their boats can go or have the permits to go the BVI. There is also an upcharge of about $700 to go there and a limit on how long one can remain.
