After our BVI bareboat trip we will be spending a couple of days at Emerald Beach. How close is the Water Island Ferry to Emerald Beach? Is it worth it to go visit an afternoon?

Not too far. Probably a 15 minute walk or a very short taxi ride. I like Water Island a lot. I think it's worth it. The ferry is at Crown Bay Marina next to Tickles restaurant.

Check the cruise ship schedule. Water Island (Honeymoon Beach) has been heavily promoted and is very busy when there are ships, especially in Crown Bay.

Thanks for the information. This would be towards the end of April, I will be sure to check the cruise ship schedule before we decide to make the trip.
