Hi guys. After 48 horrible hours on planes, trains and automobiles, we are in Johannesburg, South Africa! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> Got two free wi-fi hours here at the hotel before we head out to Victoria Falls tomorrow, around 11:45 AM. It's 8:45 PM here, and god knows what time my body thinks it is, as it's very confused right now!!!!

After tonight, doubt we will be online till we get back to the states, so we will be talking to you MUCH later, after hopefully many GREAT pictures taken!

P.S, we said hi to Big Ben for everybody yesterday and had fish and chips and mashed peas, MIKE!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

48 hrs? It took us 21 hrs to get to Cape Town from Rochester NY. Rochester to Detroit, to Amsterdam to Cape Town. Then about an hour until we were at our hotel. It was a nice flight, read and napped a lot. Sorry to hear yours was bad. The wife is going out again in September to sail our new catamaran back to Tortola with the delivery skipper. She may do the direct flight out of Atlanta (South African Air) That's only 15.5 hrs non stop. And I thought 11 hrs in the air at one time was a long time. I never knew plains can stay up that long.

Enjoy Africa, We loved it there.
