We returned last night from a 5 night charter with Moorings. Will follow with a trip report and pictures! We had our 2 boys and my husband's parents on a 4300 catamaran.
Highlights:
1. Several great sailing days (20-30 knot winds)
2. Hobie lessons for the boys at Bitter End
3. Snorkeling behind Marina Cay - This was the best snorkeling by far. The reef was very alive and the fish well fed and numerous. I was a little weary as the night before we shined our flashlight in the water and saw 40-50 huge tarpon all around our boat. (All 3-5 ft long) We have never seen anything like this before. We assume they were tarpon.
4. Peter Island Monday Night Beach Party. The stilt walkers and steel drum band were awesome. They hoisted our 8 year old into the air.
5. Our cat, the Courlander, was a super boat in great condition!
6. The sail to and from Anegada was outstanding. Walker's waypoints were right on. We had the most beautiful sunset there that turned the sky the most beautiful colors all around.
7.Chilling on the front tramp with the boys at night and looking at the constellations was fun.
