First things first, thanks to ttol for advice to make my second trip the best.....The 8am flight from Boston was smooth. The 2pm flight from San Juan was rescheduled to 6:30 pm. Since I was forewarned, I adjusted & slipped into island mode, took a cab to EL San Juan hotel & relaxed with a Mojhito made at the hotel pizza shop. No <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" />for me, just good drink and pleasant company. Then we boarded at 6:30 & in little time I was at Ole Works Inn. Dinner at Myett's was excellent, grilled shrimp. Then, on to listen to Quito....The next morning,as they were setting up for the fest, I hopped Glen's water taxi to Jost-1st time- and sifted sands and aqua-teale water... my heaven. So much to drink,so little time. Mango painkillers were appreciated at the soggy dollar. Then on to One Love, where I met Aggae93 & wife. Seddy worked his magic with the string. About 3, I made my way to Foxy's. Lunch wasa chicken roti at Ali Baba. At 5:30 the taxi picked me up and raced back to CGB. The fest was gearing up...great old school as well as dance-hall reggae. Excitement reigned! That nite I roamed around-music, dancing, lot's of folk. Myett's had a stand set up, and I dined on curried goat. I had never tried that before--very good! So good, I had that on Sat. nite. Hung around the fest Fri. & Sat. checking out the sites and sounds. On Sunday noon I took the taxi to Jost once again, an escape from the frenzy. I got to spend time with Caroline, Periwinkle, and husbands. I also met "Gracie" and family. I am looking foward to this anonymous trip report. Got back home in the evening to some mellow jazz. All of us older folks appreciated this. -Then, thanks to ttol's advice, I tried the Alfredo at Banana..A little Italian with carribbean flare. Monday morning I packed up and sadly left by cab, listening to the driver's melancholy tunes of Van Morrison while enjoying Josiah's Bay......Now I am back in MA. working<not plundering> and dreaming <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/snore.gif" alt="" /> of next Feb. trip. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />
