Update , just returned last saturday it is so sad <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> to be back home. But we had a wonderful time in SXM the weather was just georgous we were there from april 23 to may 21st . We stayed for the first two week at the Belair Beach resort we loved every minute of it , the staff was so nice and the condo was well kept. They make you feel at home.Then we moved to the Sapphire what a difference the staff is not helpfull at all
and the condo need desperate help( the jaccuzi was fillty, the bed needs a new mattress, the dishes was missing ,the toillet
was not working,etc..) Took them two days to repair the toillet and clean the jaccuzi after we had complained. Sorry to give this hotel a bad reputation
but they need to act now and renovate the place .I just thought to list these thing so others may benficiate from this
knowing what's going on over at the Sapphire.
We went shopping at Front street (DK jewelers)we had fun talking and dealing with Deepti and her staff very nice people.
( Hi Deepti) we bought beautiful jewelery.We went to a lot <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" /> of beaches ,Cupecoy, Orient, Friar, Baie Longue, Mullet,and it was fun ,nice people everywhere we went.We rented a car from Brinks ( gave us a good price for the month $520.) the car rental at the Belair so we went everywhere on the island.
We went to La Samanna on our anniversary <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> very expensive but good , Mario's Bistro we like a lot good food for your money excellent restaurant, and the Oassis ( Bonjour to Vino) excellent restaurant.Sorry for the long report but I had a blast and we are now dreaming of the next time we will go back. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />Hope this report help some <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />people.
