Got back Friday night after nine glorious weeks in the islands..a HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up for the two bashes at Chateau Relaxeau Caribe...the food was fantastic ..Jambalya Pasta from John and April at SG, Tom Garvey and Joanna's incredible Jambalya they spent three hours cooking in the CRC kitchen..LandCrab's dip...Gary and Terry (Calsail) and thei caviar and everyone else..just amazing..wonderful to finally meet Jeff C (and his lovely bride) and Bill H and the delightful Lady Di and new baby Kneafsey (7 weeks old and already a BVIslander!)...flew with Walker and Nancy to Anegada....sailed the tri Triple Jack and sailed with the Patouche crew..way too many memories to put here..lowest of low point???Getting the dreaded bug that seemed to fly around the CGB crowd on the afternoon of Davide's surprise birthday bash for Cele..did make it there but I was green and had to go..what timing!!Other than that..no regrets..great meals at Brandywine( three times), The Dove, Spaghetti Junction, Banakeet ( thank you Carol Hill what a fun night that was), Coco Plums, Palms Delight, Pisces, Islands ( at Sugar Mill) etc ..Of course like many I was greatly saddened last night to hear about Peter Jennings who I'd met down in the BVI's..he and his family really loved our prescious islands. lets raise a toast to Peter and carry on enjoying the BVI's in his memory..next trip??Hopefully November on Jeannius...than ks to all my old and new pals for making it a great time..
