After many delays we are scheduled to land today at 4:45 in STT. We are trying to get to west end. What options do we have? I don't know we can get to red hook to catch the 5 o'clock and the Charlotte 5 oclock takes us to road town

You're going to be hard pressed to even make the CA ferry. If you can, take it even if it goes to Roadtown. I would be on the phone/internet working out a plan "B" in the event you have to spend the night in St. Thomas. It's not inconceivable that the 5 from CA is running late, and you have a slight prayer of making it.

That's what we're thinking. At least it gets us on tortola. We are already 2 days late due to the bad weather.

Hoping you have carryon..if find a cabbie that will take you without waiting for 12 other passengers..call Kevin and give him a nice tip! The RTFF I have seen leave as late as 6 so it is do able....if all fails The Windward Passage Hotel is much nice these days for about $140 a night..with Frenchtown right there for good eats..

I've got my fingers crossed for you! You deserve a little good luck after what you've been through. Here's hoping one of those ferries is running late!

Life involves risks, take some prudent ones (NOT with the BVI ferries)!

I bet air sunshine needs at least an hour to check in. But hopefully not.

By now, either Greg made it or he didn't. Hopefully he will check in soon.

We made it!!! I did a quick survey of passengers ready to board the plane I found 12 needing a ferry ride. I immediately called smith's. They arranged to have someone pick us up at the airport and they held 2 ferries, one for west end & one for roadtown. We left CA at 5:30. Very impressive service. All is well now. We just had a great meal at The Elm and I'm relaxing with a beer. Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions.
