Dinner at Mark's Place last night and then the usual night spots. BBB, Lee's and Lady C. Never made the party on the boardwalk last night. Met up with the Chicago and NYC gang at Lee's. Some what cloudy this morning. Regatta party in Marigot tonight. Probably a beach day today.
The day on the water yesterday seemed to take a lot out of most of us but I am sure we will be back at it today.
The RI group comes in today.
For anyone who enjoys the French pastries on SXM. I noticed yesterday at Zee Best they were unloading the pastries from large boxes for display/sale there. Same pastries as Cafe Atlantico and probably the same pastries most other places have. I have thought for a long time that most of these shops did NOT bake their own and bought it from a central supplier. This pretty much confirmed it. Our guess would be either Carl and Sons or a large bakery on the Frech side makes most of the pastries for most of the shops. This doesn't detract from how good the pastries are, I just think very few places make their own.
The bridge is up and it should be time for everyone else to start moving around. I guess it is almost Bloody Mary time.
