We are a party of 10 (two families of five) with kids who range in age from 9-17. We are looking for ideas where to rent in February 2016.

We have stayed near Cruz Bay before kids and really enjoyed being able to walk into town.

We are an active crew who will spend more time away from the house than at it. Also, we plan to have a rental car for most / all of our stay.

On premise pool a must for times we are back at house/villa - to give younger crew something to do during happy hour..

Any thoughts / ideas where we should look are would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

The Westin hotel might be the ticket to keep the kids occupied while you unwind

We stayed in this villa last year. It is a very nice villa, about 10 or 15 minutes from town.

How many bedrooms do you need, five? And what's the general budget?

We're doing the westin for free in 2016 with spg points. Sign up as a member, get the card, run your purchases, through it and pay them off. If two family members do it you can both achieve 30k pts+. that equals 60k plus avail to redeem for rooms that are currently 12k per night.

We're doing 4 nts. for free just using their cards for everyday purchases . Flying first class as well for free as well.aadvantage miles. Gotta work it...

Not a Westin fan. The beach there is man made. For the money a villa is going to do much better. We like Ristaba for big groups. Check out Palm Terrace, a 4BR condo in Cruz Bay. We prefer the Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole, Devers Bay and Hart Bay areas for sunsets and warmer pools in the winter. There are a couple of hundred villas in that area.

Cheers, RickG
