i spent the last two weeks of March at SBC. I am sorry to tell you that it is a mess. The old man Verdier supposedly wants to sell it and is asking way too much. He doesn't understand that much work has to be done to bring it up to code. Most of the apartments should be gutted and refurbished. I had a long list of things that had to be fixed that could choke a horse. Many were never fixed. The location is prime, but the conditions are deplorable.

I am here currently ....our room is better then last visit , pool floor is cracked and breaking up ...huge cost of repair and timing and should be closed do to unsafe conditions .....bldg 2 one elevator working .....no stores , bar open when the operator shows up ....2 restaurants have little to no business ...Verdier refused to acknowledge me , Verider walks about with his head down , he needs to be replaced ...Zero activities .....Still a cheap vacation stay ...on to port Coupecoy next week ...

Some things never change...Condition of Sapphire one of 'em. Guess they don't care about the RCI deadline for improvements.
