It was there last year when we were there in May. I was there when it had it's previous tenants (Le Bec Fin and another I can't recall). It's a pretty view. We looked at the menu and some items looked good, but I thought it was a little pricey. We ended up going to Charter House, which also falls on the pricey side of things. It was so good we went back the 2nd night.

You might do a SEARCH for posts about it. From what I remember, people have said it is good, but pricy.

We just ate there last night for dinner and it was absolutely fabulous! It was in fact SO French so if that is not your thing... They post the menu outside with prices so you can peruse. I had the turbot - a white fish with a bearnaise and mushroom risotto for an entree which was perfect - I believe it was $28. Ordered a bottle of french white wine for $30 and when my husband ordered the duck foie gras for an appetizer they brought him a small glass of red to pair better. There was also a beautiful little amuse bouche and a homemade lemonchello (best I've ever had) complimentary. Service was beyond with a smile, expensive certainly but everything on the plate was high quality and delicious and I wouldn't expect to pay less at home. French food within walking distance for us of this quality is a wonderful surprise!

Charter House use to be Saratoga and we had our Wedding Reception their 24 years ago . Loved that place then and after but haven't been to new one as yet . Haven't heard nothing about it , hence can't say.

I had dinner there (Charter House) last June. It was good, but I didn't think it was anything to write home about. Service was excellent, and the setting was very nice. Expensive as others have said.

Whammy - you need to get some foie gras. That in my opinion is as good as food gets.
