Trip Report
I've already uploaded our BVI Trip Pictures on our link at the end, the album is labeled BVI Trip 2006

I tried to take the highlights from our 19 days in the BVI, so here goes.

Highlights
Petite Pump Room at Charlotte Amalie: always our first and last stop on our trips, it’s become our tradition
KC was our ferry captain from WE to JVD: it was great seeing that smiling face
Bunn greeting us at the ferry terminal with kisses

Always great food. Eating the first pizza out of their new pizza oven: FANTASTIC. They’ll be known as the Pizza Pirates.
Ahi tuna appetizer is to die for as well as the Chocolate Mousse. Pirates Sandwich for breakfast is great and comes with a shot of rum. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> Seeing a “crack of [censored]” syndrome at the bar, not a pretty site <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

Feeling at home when you get interrupted at dinner 8 times by either TTOL’ers or locals stopping to chat.

Running into our last years friends: Jane from Maine, and Dean from Maine

Running into GlennR(Glen and Karen) in Great Harbor on New Year’s Eve Day, and assist them in getting a good buzz before they get back on the ferry to St. John (Like we told them: beer in the Caribbean is meant to be drunk fast; otherwise it will get warm)
Meeting GaryT and family at Corsairs because his son overheard us talk about Saildoggie(it was all good Saildoggie, promise!)

Great Tobago---WOW
Saw a Sea Turtle and Barracuda. TONS of fish and underwater life

Snorkeling the reef was wonderful. The water was choppy, one time I brought my head out of the water and there was a huge swell coming at me, so I popped my head down real quick and road the swell. Saw barracudas

Gaining 10 lbs during vacation <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

[color:"blue"]You know you are on island time when:[/color]
You schedule a day of snorkeling with JVD Watersports and realize you left your snorkel gear back at the Sea Crest Inn <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />
When Ivan tells you that you look like a local because we were walking so slowly
When you ask for the time and the response you get is “a quarter after” and you ask “a quarter after WHAT?”

We had a great trip and have already scheduled a return next December 2007 <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/pirate.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/pirate.gif" alt="" />
