Hello All. We stayed at Royal Palm last year and loved it. This year we kind of delayed our decision to return so we now only have a few options. One of the options we have is for a 1 bedroom at the Royal Palm but our concern is the confirmation does not list an actual unit number. It just says unassigned. Could we show up to a full resort and be sent over to a sister property? Also, does anyone know where in the building the 1 bedrooms are located? We do not want to be close to the pool as it can be a bit there.

The person that sent the confirmation appears to have paid with "points". Would this make him a timeshare owner or maybe just a Diamond Resorts owner somewhere? How would that status affect the taxes and fees? Very confusing with no help from the person we are trying to rent from.

Any comments would be appreciated.

The only part of the question I can answer is about location of 1 bedrooms. They are in the center of the building...right by the pool.

Yes, the one bedrooms are located at the center of the resort, ABOVE the pool, for several floors. To me, that's not a negative. I also do not know the answer to the rest of the question.

If the person your renting through isn't giving you the answers you need I would look for someone else to rent from that is more helpful. www.sxm-timesharenews.com has plenty of listings for units to rent from owners at RP.
