I have clients with substantial 1031 proceeds to reinvest. One possibility they want to explore is a St. John villa or condo. Couple questions: 1. Some internet sources indicate that St. John real estate prices took a substantial (30% -/+) dive three years ago and have stayed steady since. Is that info good? 2. Can anyone recommend a real estate broker (or other source) which can render macro and micro advice about St. John residential real estate investments? 3. Can anyone recommend any other resources for getting educated about such topics (other than making an unwise investment)?

Yep, Les Otis has worked with a half dozen people we know. Gretchen Labrenz is another person who has been in the business a long time.
