I received an email the other day about this offer. It was actually oriented to Puerto Rico for some reason, but the hyperlink was to this page:

Home in VG?l Has any of you seen anything about this before?

Interesting link. I have never had land crabs before. first I have heard of it.

Our favorite is to scan the horizon for small boats in the middle of nowhere. We sail over to them and ask them what they are catching. I will never make the mistake of getting a LARGE lobster again. We didn't have anything large enough to cook it.

Land crabs are sought after for certain dishes, but need to be purged for a week or so before cooking.

We seem to have a colony of land crabs living in the boulders behind CRC..might be some tasty eating!

How was it? I know that Maine lobster gets tough and the taste definitely suffers at over 2lbs....
