Flight from Boston direct to St Thomas went off without a hitch at 10:20am getting us in about 3pm. Had our rum punches and a beer while waiting for our checked luggage and made the 4pm ferry to West End with plenty of time to spare. After a sunny/breezy ferry ride we were "home".

A very relaxing/uneventful 10 days on Tortola, where we spent each day just "limin" at mostly Smugglers (weather permitting).

The weather varied from a bit wet and breezy in the beginning to calm and sunny at the end. The rain showers didn't bother us as we watched the news on "The Siberian Express" back home.

Great Full Moon Party at Bombas on 1/22, saw Manpot briefly there (I remember).

Enjoyed Quitos for a set till I had to carry the Mrs home.

Great sunset happy hours at Bananakeet (another Manpot sighting).

Jolly Roger for playoff football and Jerk Prime Ribs (my favorite island meal).

After a nice Sunday Brunch at Sebastians we sadly made our way back to St Thomas on the 12pm ferry. Was disappointed that it was "The Bomba Charger", as I like an upper deck to get my tan finalized but oh well. The ride was made exciting as we were sideswiped by a wake that caused "The Bomba Charger" to roll hard left then right.

Clear customs in St Thomas to find that The Petite Pumproom is closed on Sundays. One of the local cabbies directed us across the street to "Perrys Bus Stop/ (wreck)". Grabbed a beer to go and walked on the Charolette Amalie waterfront.

Fortunately I checked with AA on our flight status to find that our flight home had been delayed another hour due to snow in Boston. So I was glad I was able to spend the extra hour at a downtown outdoor bar (Happy Buzzard?) rather than the STT Airport.

Made our way to the airport, hit the "duty free" liquor store (2 bottles of Gran Marnier for $39.95) and dealt with the great food and beverage service in the waiting terminal. We get our last breath of warm air while loading onto our plane, back to Boston where it is a balmy 30 deg.
