Looking for some local advice. We sailed last summer on a Moorings 4800 and have already booked Moorings 5800 for next summer and absolutely love everything about it. Prior to next summer we are booked on the NCL Escape with a stop in Tortola and are looking for a day of fun similar to what we would do on our Moorings trip. We are not interested in booking an excursion through the cruise so are looking for a local company to accommodate our party of 12. Any recommendations?

You doing the 5800 crewed or bareboat? You'll love it either way! The upper deck is awesome.

As far as what to do - enjoy time on Tortola, since you'll likely spend less time there when chartering. Maybe you can rent a safari truck and drive the crew around or hire one to take you around?

Happy to hear about your great experience on the 4800 and we look forward to hosting your 5800 charter.

We actually offer day charters. You can't book until 14 days out, but could take the 4800 for a day sail or any boat in the fleet that's available for that day.

Happy to answer any questions!

AC is the very best - he took very special care of a "crew" member we left behind at Rhymers in May <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />
