arrived at stt and took the last ferry over to Tortola on 6/27. Did not rent a car, had taxi service with Kelly for the week and all was good!
Everyone at Long Bay Resort was fabulous...checkin was a breeze even though we missed our connecting flight in clt LBR was gracious to extend our stay an extra night!
Our hillside/poolside/viewside <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> room was perfect and housekeeping was great.
we did something different, we had almost every meal at LBR. We had the ai plan and let me tell you the meals were superb and plenty of it too. Service was good, even better than i expected.
we had a day trip to JVD and hung out at the soggy dollar and one love and the beach and shade were great. We also had a day trip to VG and visited the Baths and the devils and it was wonderful.
There were 2 weddings at LBR while we were there. Sheryl is Sheryl and you will like her and she makes really good drinks and good veggie burgers.
We attended a church in duffs bottom sp? and everyone was so friendly and even wanted us to stay for lunch! Wanted to meet Manpot, but he was away on the flotilla <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />
