It is the size of the photo -- mainly the width. If you have a choice drop down to the next size, like medium if that would be the option available. The one in the thread has a width of 1400 plus, see if the next size down is around 1200 that generally works. A width of 800 or so always works.

Depending on peoples monitor and resolusion it changes the view of the page.
