For those who were owners at the old Caravanserai, I wanted to tell you that Tony Narducci has passed away about 2 weeks ago,

Thanks, Tony was a trusty salesman along with Ray Minelli. We found no problems dealing with them. Those days are gone forever.

Yes, Tony left Caravansari when things started to change and they were pushing to sell units in the new resort that kind of never materialized. He was not comfortable with the direction the place was headed. He was good friends and worked closely with Ray.

Certainly the presence of sales agents of Tony and Ray's type working for The Caravanserai/Alegria are not to be found.

I think what Bob meant to say, but due to the limitation of space in the heading bar it did not all appear, was "SALES OFFICE". As in selling timeshares from the SALES OFFICE. it has nothing to do with SAILING.

J.D. is correct. The software used for the boards limits titles to 48 characters and spaces. Anything longer gets truncated at 48 and the rest is not displayed.

The same thing happened to the title of singbeach's post a few weeks ago and caused so much confusion...

When people see this is the case, rephrasing the heading should be considered or perhaps we could do it.

Maybe we moderators could send a PM to the original poster asking for clarification when we see this happening and ask what they meant the full title to be?

For those that post an item and see that their title was truncated: please reply to your own post and clarify what the full title meant to say in the body of that reply.

Bob was saying that Tony passed away meaning sailing of into the sunset, heaven or what ever. Not that sales are off, meaning selling units or real estate.
I was just saying it was a confusing title for the content.

I don't know for sure exactly what Bob meant but I would assume since he is a captain he would know the proper spelling and use of of "sail" versus "sale".

I will agree, it is confusing when the entire header line does not show up. It makes for difficulty in determining the exact topic.

OK the title was cut off and that changed the entire subject. It was sales Office, Not sales off…
