Arrived on time and with only flight at immigration we were able to pick up car, check into hotel and be on the beach by 2p to get some sun and relax.

We ate with friends at Big Fish. They have a 3 course special for $25 which I believe ends soon. Most dinners are >$25 although they had some burger and salad options that were much less,

Ended evening with a cocktail at Dinghy Dock. It was very hot there, no breeze so we didn't stay long. Ran into a friend who bartended there several yrs back and has returned to the island. Great to see him.

We retuned to hotel and "boys" went to watch an inning or two of World Series in the lobby bar.

It was a wonderful first day and we are thrilled to be back after our 2 yrs away.

One side note even though we can no longer rent "our" RAV4 would you believe someone bought it from Unity and we saw it! David told the guy he wants it back! If you know us , we've rented it 18 times so it was always referred to as David's car.

Two of us had shrimp in an Asian ginger broth. Light and tasty. The boys had the hangar steak with a cognac.

Our host told us they have a sushi chef. Sushi menu was small with several speciality roll options. There were two burger options on the regular menu and a few salads otherwise fish and meat offerings. Atmosphere is pretty with both indoor and outdoor dining

It's always nice to arrive in early afternoon and get some 1st day beach time.

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.
