We have seen folks at club O with chair covers/towels/pads with pockets and all kind of clever things that seem reasonably lightweight and packable. Any suggestions to where to purchase such things? Love Club O but the strap chairs could use some help. Thanks in advance

We have talked to people who have taken the measurements of the chairs and made their own covers. Some are very neat looking and have pockets and a few other features.

We asked the size of the chairs in order to make our own covers. We got a reply from Modi on 6/16/14 and he gave the measurements of the chairs. (You can check it out along with a picture by doing a search on this site. The measurements are very detailed.) From that we took oversize towels and with a handtowel made a pocket for the top and velcro to hold the bottom on. We put our Club O towels over that and find it to be more comfortable. The club towels keep us from having to wash them during our stay.

We bought ours at Target. We got them at the beginning of the summer season.

I can offer input to the solution we have which works well for us. We combine two items for a more comfortable time on the Club O chairs. Part one is a Thermarest self inflating sleeping pad and part two is a terry chair cover which is what others have written about. The self inflating sleeping pads roll up for ease of travel and provide enough cushion to make the day a happy one. We put the self inflating pad on first, then the terry chair cover. We use luggage strap across the bottom of the chair to keep the sleeping pad in place. All in all this has worked well for us.

We've been using the Thermarest pads for years at CO! I have never seen anyone else with them and I've told several people who came by and asked. They work great and we just keep them in our storage bin.
