We've been going to Virgin Gorda for years and are now going to stay on Tortola. Does any have any 'must do' suggestions for a first time visit? Also, any good bar or restraint suggestions? Thanks!!

Sunday nights at The Elm in CGB shouldn't be missed. Might need restraints for Manpot, but he is usually fairly well behaved

What area of Tortola will you be staying in?

Sunsets from Bananakeet/Heritage Inn are also a treat. As is the sunset from the Sugar Mill beach bar. I seem to have a sunset problem....nope!

Definitely have dinner at "The Sugar Mill" now Mary and Dennis have taken the whole place over and totally revitalised it..amzing food and ambiance..also they will be keeping the beach bar open all day this season with casual dinners at night..cant wait to check that out. Also..love " Scaramouche" in Soper's Hole..terrific Italian for lunch and dinner..sadly have no idea what's going to happen with " The Clubhouse" without Paul Mason and first reports of shenanigans there are not good..not good at all..As also said.."Bananakeet"..still great but things may change with the tragic passing of owner Chris..hopefully it will continue as is and we'll all be happy..and toast Chris every sunset up there..and, come to The Elm on Sunday nights and say " Hi"..we always have the top table right by the dance fllor..I'll be the one in restraints!
