Begins on January 12, and is due to last for 12 weeks. I think that makes the last date April 5, if I counted correctly.

Good news Carol, last year they cut it short and we missed it by a week.

According to the article in yesterday's Daily Herald, a business chipped in and paid for an extra 4 weeks this year. Sorry, I can't remember who. I'm not sure if it was in the online version of the Herald or not, as I read it in the full version.

In November when we were there I read in one of the St. Martin magazines that Harmony Nights starts the 3rd Tuesday which would be the 19th. Where did you see the 12th? That would make me very happy as we will be able to go that night with our friends from West Virginia. Although we do know that sometimes the dates are a suggestion, same as the centre line in the road. LOL. Thanks

I mentioned in another thread that I attended on Fat Tuesday last year. For someone who doesn't like crowds, kind of a mistake!

It was in the full Daily Herald paper from yesterday. I haven't had a chance to see if it was in the online version.
