I did a search but didn't find enough information to answer my own question.

We are staying on Virgin Gorda in February.

Is it possible to ship a package down ahead of time?

There are businesses in the USVIs that will receive and hold packages for a fee.

I was wondering if a similar service exists on VG?

You might check with Lester Maduro. He is an import agent on VG. indeed he is clearing our Subaru in today. The problem is that the BVI government would have no way of knowing the items were for personal use and not imports requiring a customs fee.

With sending items to Connections on St John or other US territory customs are not a proble,m.

timeliness and expense are another problem. Many use St. John or STT for destination ofackages and use a forwarding service. Again the problem would be clearing customs claiming are person items to be used and taken home.

You can certainly ship via FedEX to Tortola and I'm pretty sure to VG.It most certainly is not cheap though!Sebastian's is kind enough to receive packages there for us...depending where you are staying on VG,management might do the same for you if you ask nicely..
